Poetry Kapow! 6 - the seasonal climax! (7th December 2008)

Fay says:

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a...

HELLO! Testing... testing... is this thing on...?!

Poetry Kapow! 6 - the panto special (oh, no it’s not! easy...) was a Kapow! of firsts for the organisers.

Despite me recovering from major surgery, the brightness of the lights and the many, many stairs to climb (it seemed!), we pulled off a blinder (described by poetry guru MMT as his “favourite Kapow! ever”). We had seasonal wonderment, Open Mic surprises, sparkly lights, a poetry amanuensis (no, seriously), beermat poetry galore, and an extremely closely-fought Slam which resulted in “Sparky” Mark Niel being our overall winner, leaving Liz runner up (but the “People’s Choice”!) and plenty of other beermatters lapping up the other prizes.

How would we top that? With a Garden, of course!
