Anyway, completely seriously now - thank you everso much if you made it to Kapow! last Friday 13th November at the Historic MADCAP in Wolverton. We had a wonderful evening of performance poetry - courtesy of our Open Mic all-stars Steve, Lionel, Lyn, Donna, Richard, Matthew, Terry, Ian and Paul; music - courtesy of Mr. Phil Sky; awesome, show-stopping beat poetry - courtesy of our very special guests the Antipoet; beermat mayhem - courtesy of everyone; fates and fortunes - courtesy of the Mighty Doc; further fates - courtesy of Giles; and sinister décor - courtesy of Richard, Martyn, Danni, and our Mysterious Benefactors. Thanks of course also go to Shona and the wond'rous MADCAP itself.
Despite the lack of Slam (but next time, oh yes...) we still gave out prizes, with congratulations to our winner of Poet of the Night, Donna (Bard of Northampton, dontchaknow!), and Beermat Maestros Richard (the other one) and Lionel.
